Around 9:15am, the driver of a pickup truck was heading south on Sheridan Road when she got distracted. At the time she decided to look up, she noticed that traffic had stopped right in front of her.

The pickup driver had to swerve to avoid the cars in front of her and ended up colliding with a tractor-trailer rig going northbound. The pickup truck was said to be going 35-40 mph.

The driver of the semi-truck was not injured but the pickup driver had minor injuries and her truck was majorly damaged. Crews were at the scene until around 10:30 cleaning up the damage.
